CLARO DEL BOSQUE aspires to provide our groups with exceptional service while offering a genuinely authentic rainforest experience with a combined living experience of over 50 years in the Osa Peninsula we have a strong knowledge and understanding of thearea and the challenges it faces. Committed to a holistic approach working with the environment we are currently experimenting with new crops that are ecologically sustainable.

An important component of our project is a food garden where we will collect seeds, plant materials and disseminate knowledge to the local communities.

We cater to groups of adventurous investigators, academics, students, photographers and yogis seeking a holistic down to earth experience.  This secluded area of the Osa Peninsula is only accessible by boat which has helped preserve this paradise from the impact of civilization.

Our Mission

Our Mission

We provide an environment where naturalists, scientists, and investigators can work and carry on long-term studies. We firmly believe that by making an accessible facility available to interested groups, will aid in the appreciation and preservation of the important ecosystems found in the Osa Conservation Area.

We will interact with indigenous communities in our area to help perpetuate knowledge that otherwise could be lost. Along with their help, we hope to become better stewards of our environment.

In the core of one of the last virgin rainforests you will find a simple, community-based eco-lodge.

Claro Del Bosque Rainforest Experience is a remote, eco-conscious property that is surrounded by 170 acres of pristine rainforest reserve.  We present you an opportunity to have a complete, intimate and absorbing odyssey to a tropical land that is described by National Geographic as “The most biologically intense place on Earth.”
